Boxing Hares

I used to think that boxing hares were both male, in pursuit of a female. But in fact, it's a male and a female. The male having chased the doe all over the countryside, gets short shrift from an understandably fed up doe. Regardless it's a wonderful spectacle to behold in the spring, and an iconic pose to capture in wire.
